KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly’s opposition leader said that they would soon reveal the details of irregularities in the government appointments.

He said this in the Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan’s parliamentary committee’s meeting’s end. Sindh Assembly’s Leader of the Opposition Khawaja Izharul Hassan said that all kind of government’s appointments are not being made on merit. He alleged that the provincial government is receiving bribe-money for the appointments.

Hassan also stated that the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) director general should take action against all the officers and ministers involved in receiving extortion money.

On the occasion, MQM-Pakistan leader Faisal Sabzwari called on the government and put forward a question that if MQM made any off-merit appointments why is the government not checking into the matter?
