Economic stability to attract foreign investment: Mamnoon

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that economic stability and improvement in law and order has attracted investors from across the world to Pakistan.

He was talking to a delegation of Qatari businessmen association in Doha on Monday which expressed deep interest to invest in Pakistan. The president said that the central Asian states have also expressed their confidence in the flagship project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

He said that Pakistan has a bright future and by 2050 it would be in the list of developed countries of the world. He invited the business community to invest in energy, basic infrastructure, Halal food and dairy farming sectors in Pakistan.

He said that both countries can initiate joint projects in public and private sectors. The Businessmen association said that it would make a steering committee to take an overview of the investment opportunities in Pakistan.
