Deputy attorney general resigns

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Attorney General of Pakistan Abdul Rasheed Awan has tendered his resignation from the post.

According to media reports, Abdul Rasheed Awan resigned due to personal reasons, and had sent his resignation to President Mamnoon Hussain. It is vital to mention here that Abdul Rasheed had been serving as the deputy attorney general since September 24, 2014.
