LAHORE: The Minister of State for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali, and Shahid Javed were unanimously elected as President and Secretary General of the Pakistan Judo Federation respectively at the general council meeting of the body here Monday. “These elections were due before May 20th, 2016, but for some reason, the PJF could not hold them in time and thus the national federation became defunct. The member units of the PJF then organised these elections and elected the new officer bearers,” newly elected secretary general Shahid told media.
