SAHIWAL: A man has allegedly strangled her newly-wed daughter after she demanded a divorce from her husband in Thatta Bahadur Shah village. According to sources, daughter of Hakim Ali was married Hifazat Ali but she returned to her parents’ home on the second day of her marriage after being annoyed over some issue. When her husband came to take her back, she refused to go and demanded a divorce that enraged her father who strangled her. Police have registered a case and started an investigation after the arrest of the suspect.
