Many districts of Sindh, including Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore-Kandhkot, Sukkur and Ghotki, observed moderate rainfall on Friday.
The downpour continued for a long time, owing to which electricity supply to Shikarpur and other district was witnessed as well after the feeders tripped.
It was also reported that at least 28 people died due to lighting in Tharparkar district of Sindh.
The people of Shikarpur kept their business shut and remained indoors due to moderate rain and prolonged power outages in the area, while rainwater accumulated on all roads and streets of the district.
