LAHORE: Acting chief of the Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has expressed deep concern over the fresh wave of terrorism, he said that the anti Pakistan forces were carrying out terrorist activities to support the colonial agenda. He was speaking at an Iftar party in Gopal Nagar.
Liaqat Baloch offered condolences to the families of those martyred in Quetta and Parachinar and prayed for the quick recovery of the injured. He expressed the hope that the security forces would succeed in wiping out terrorism.
Stressing the need for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, for the liberation of the Qibla e Awwal, he said that unity could be achieved by feeling the agony of our brother Muslims in distress.
He said that freedom was the right of the Palestinians and the Kashmiris and as long as these issues were not resolved, world peace would remain a dream. He said that the world powers patronizing Israel were continuing their game to divide the Muslim world.
