Advance Studies, Research Board meeting held at SALU

KHAIRPUR: The 59th meeting of Advance Studies and Research Board was held on Tuesday at the Shah Abdul Latif University, which was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Parveen Shah. At this juncture, more than 2000 research scholars have been registered in the MS, MPhil and PhD coursework by the Directorate of Post Graduate Studies. After detailed deliberations, various important decisions were taken in the meeting like extension of research period for scholars and appointment of penal of examiners for the evaluation of thesis and conducting viva voice. The board recommended awarding PhD degree to Hissamuddin Shaikh in the field of mathematics. The board also recommended awarding MS and MPhil degrees to many students, while appointed research supervisors in various fields. The board recommended approving synopsis submitted by 70 research scholars for MS, MPhil and PhD research work in different fields.
