Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has given approval for establishment of Thal University in Bhakkar. Approving summary sent by Higher Education Department, the chief minister said sub-campus of Sargodha University in Bhakkar will be converted to City Campus of Thal University. That campus is spanning over 108 Kanals. CM Buzdar directed Deputy Commissioner Bhakkar to identify land for setting up the university at the earliest. He said Punjab government has decided to setup overall eight universities and five institutes in the province during next one year. Meanwhile, Buzdar said that Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the ultimate source of mercy for all the occasions and worlds and his immaculate way of life is the key to success for all of us. The Chie Minister was speaking during a soulful ceremony held at the main mosque of CM Office on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) also attended by others. Auqaf Minister Saeed-ul-Hassan Shah recited the verses of Quran-e-Pak and na’at Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH) along with Marghoob Ahmed Hamdani, Israr Azam Chishti and Sarwar Hussain Naqshbandi. He said that Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) laid the foundation of the city-state of Madina by evolving an exemplary system of governance in a short span of time. Usman Buzdar said that everyone enjoyed equal rights and vulnerable segments, as well as religious minorities, were also given their rights by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
