A magazine recently asked Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner to perform Justin Bieber’s “Baby,” and the results are precious.

As a duo, they may have got crossed wires when it came to their open mic though, because while Kendall turns the hit song into her best low-key emotional take on slam poetry, Gigi vigorously belts out the lyrics like she’s three shots into karaoke night. Gigi, girl, let’s make a Spice Girls duet medley happen?

There’s something endlessly hilarious about dramatic readings of pop songs. Perhaps its the serious, sultry glances that the celebs give when they do them, or the way those lyrics sound out of context – whatever the reason, we’re totally into it. Remember when Nick Jonas and Lily-Rose Depp (plus 27 other stars) performed Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” like they were at a poetry slam? Or when Bryan Cranston, Amy Schumer, Kristen Wiig, and other celebs gave us a dramatic interpretation of Drake’s “Hotline Bling?” Those will go down in history as some of the funniest videos of all time.

In the video, Kendall takes a very solemn approach to the lyrics, while Gigi chooses to sing – and the combination is literally amazing. We won’t blame you if you watch the video dozens of times – we’re right there with you.
