CJP says Bench, Bar should work to provide ‘speedy’ justice

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Anwar Zaheer Jamali has said that ‘Bench and Bar are integral parts of the justice system’ on Wednesday.

The chief justice was of the view that the bench and the bar should work in a way that provides timely justice to the litigant parties at their door steps.

He was talking to a five-member delegation of Layyah District Bar Association – headed by its President Chaudhry Naveed Ahmad. The delegation discussed the issues of mutual and legal interest and requested the CJP to redress the problems being faced by Layyah’s lawyers – to which the CJP assured to probe into.
