As in other parts of the country, the day has also been observed in Pakistan with a large number of doctors, nurses and other medical staff raising awareness about the importance of the day.

Such days should be observed across the country as the public at large must me educated what is essential for their health. The government along with the civil society must also play its part to educate the masses how to prevent themselves from such diseases as nothing is more important than health of the people.
