KARACHI: It seems that the services of all the officers who are not in Good Books of new chief minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, are likely to be transferred to federal government soon, it is reliably learnt.

Interestingly, those already working with federal government and they are in the ‘Good Books’ of CM will be summoned to work in Sindh government to ‘ensure deliverance’ of CM’s vision in the province.

The sources privy to the development told Daily Times that in the recent past the CM had personally talked to Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif regarding the transfer of senior officers having Sindh’s domicile to Sindh province for better performance in the province.

“The chief minister has tasked the chief secretary Muhammad Siddique Memon to prepare a list of officers whose services could be put at the disposal of federal government”, sources added.

According to sources, the chief secretary has held a meeting with all the secretaries and asked and have inquired from them if they wish to work as per wishes of CM or want to follow their own style of work.

Recently, the chief minister has allegedly sidelined the senior most dedicated officer of Sindh namely Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah Bukhari by transferring his services to federal government.

Another senior officer, Baqaullah Unar was also sidelined following departmental issues with the Sindh Minister for Local Government Jam Khan Shoro. A senior officer of Police Service namely DIG Bashir Ahmed Memon was also ousted from Sindh and his services were transferred to federal government, sources further added.

Daily Times reportedly tried to contact Sindh Chief Secretary Muhammad Siddique Memon for his official version however his cellular phone remained unattended till filing of the report.
