What is your show about? What kind of guests and what kind of discussions should we expect?
We are living in a digital age and the viewers are shifting from television to web-based media and channels. So, I think it is the right time to run a show on a platform which people of any age especially young people can enjoy and access easily; anytime, anywhere. My show is in collaboration with the team of 422 Talent and has been produced by its CEO, Syed Murad Haider Kazmi. It is based on short interviews of famous celebrities and socialites with whom I will try to remain casual in order to give their fans something different. We will also play fun games to keep the show upbeat.
When did you decide to leave the army and join media?
Serving in the Army was the best thing that happened to me. It remained my love and passion for the longest time and I am very proud of the service I gave to my homeland. What I am today is because of what my parents and Army taught me. Unfortunately, due to some personal issues, I was unable to continue and took retirement. On the other hand, modelling and acting have remained my hobbies since childhood. I got the chance to pursue my dreams and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work in such diverse fields. Still, I am doing very selective work because I have to take care of my family business as well.

When is your show starting and how can we reach it easily?
It will be available on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram soon. You just need to write “Dip & Sip with LT Col (R) Aurangzeb Mirza” in the search panel or you can subscribe to theYouTube channel, “422 Talent”.
What is your objective behind this show?
When I watch interviews of key personalities, I sometimes find them monotonous with the interviewers repeating the same things over and over again. So, I will do research before an interview and prepare it in a different manner by digging out points and formulating questions which others don’t dare to ask and that is what I believe will be the USP of the show. I am a jovial person in real life and I will try to keep that taste in all my programmes.
How many episodes will it contain? Is it based on daily episodes or monthly episodes?
The first season will be of nine episodes. We will let the seasons go on as long as the audience and I continue enjoying it.
