Karachi: During a press conference alongwith the ex-security in-charge of Altaf Hussain, Umar Goga and others who joined PPP, Senator Saeed Ghani said that opponent parties are leveling many allegations of using “government machinery” which is not true at all. It must be a clear definition of the term “government machinery” that has been over-used by our opponents.

Saeed Ghani warmly welcomed the new comers. “Such committed people are the strength of the party. We would approach to various strongholds with the help of our political workers”.

To a question, Saeed Ghani said that one thing makes him confused when we are criticized by the opposition by for doing nothing since our nine-year tenure of the government. At the same time, we are also being blamed for doing project works.

To a question related to the allegation of rigging leveled by the opposition parties he said,” the parties are setting their grounds as they could perform a good drama of protests.” I have requested to the government to deploy rangers to avoid such unwanted conditions after election.

Many political parties are giving huge amount of money to their workers for organizing events and conferences. My workers are doing everything on behalf of their own that shows their dedication and commitment to the party.

The General Secretary of PPP Sindh Waqar Mehdi has said that he shall not level allegation against Muttaida Quami Movement (MQM) because it is unethical to drown someone who is drowning itself.

Those who claim to be national and patriotic party were the worshippers of Altaf Bhai and were involved in massacring and murdering people.

Recalling his past working-time in MQM, he said that the party needed terrorist not ideological and political men. “In 1998, I handed over the names of at least 85 persons involved in various terrorist activities, resultantly, I was attacked, many of my beloved were killed”.

The thought of racism and ethnicity is a curse of God because it divides people. “Pakistan Peoples Party would emerge as the biggest party in the country and the election of PS-114 will be its first achievement”, he concluded.
