Group exhibition titled ‘Stories’ by 15 artists held at Shakir Ali Museum

The exhibition Stories curated by Mahaa Ashraf on Friday was held at Shakir Ali Museum, Lahore. More than 40 paintings by talented artists were on display, for all art lovers. This exhibition was organised by the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA). Renowned watercolour artist and Pride of Performance winning painter Dr Ejaz Anwar inaugurated the exhibition. On the occasion, well-known senior artists were present on the opening of the exhibition, such as Ijazul Hassan and other known artists. A large number of art lovers and art students from different walks of life thronged to the gallery and appreciated the efforts of the artists in showcasing the artwork. At least three artworks of each artist were showcased who produced their artworks on given theme. Most of them are recent graduates of NCA, PUCAD, LCWU and other art universities. Each artist, showed his/her story and journey through their paintings with different mediums of art.
