Protesters urge govt to resume Metro Bus Service operations

The participants of the Azadi March have urged the government to start the Metro Bus Service in the twin cities, saying that they would provide security to the buses.

This was demanded by participants through a resolution which was passed unanimously. Moreover, they have condemned the murder of Balochistan ameer’s son after kidnapping.

After the passing of resolution, it was announced from the stage that the government should start the Metro Bus Service and the participants of march will give security to the bus service voluntarily. It has been said in the resolution that the government should not afraid of khaki uniform, we will be at the forefront of defending the country whenever there is a time. It was said that the metro was also running with the procession in Lahore, so the metro bus service of the twin cities would not be stopped. Before that, Metro Bus Service was stopped by the Islamabad Administration on the account of maintenance. DC Hamza Shafqat told that due to the some repairing is to be done due to which bus service remain close till further orders.
