Film “Baazi” all set for screening tomorrow at Lok Virsa

ISLAMABAD: Lok Virsa Mandwa Film Club would organize screening of film “Baazi” on Saturday at Virsa Media Centre.

Executive Director Lok Virsa Dr. Fouzia Saeed told APP that leading lady of film ‘Baazi’, Nisho Begum, renowned actress will be the chief guest on the occasion. She will attend the film screening and meet her fans on the occasion.

Directed by Iqbal Shahzad, Nadeem and Mohammad Ali play the male leads in this love triangle.

Nisho was very talented and glamorous actress. Film ‘Baazi’ was her first film released in 1970. She was also worked in Punjabi films but she got good response in Urdu films.

Her real name is Bilquis Begum. She gain fame, name and respect in Pakistani film Industry.

She was offered the role of lead actress opposite Mohammad Ali and Nadeem in her debut, mega hit film `Baazi,’ in 1970.

Around that time, Bilquis changed her name to Nisho and achieved name, fame and respect in times due course. Moreover, Mohammad Ali and Nadeem appeared together for the first time in the film `Baazi’ (Director, Late Iqbal Shehzad, composer, Sohail Rana.
