DUBAI: Former President Pervez Musharraf has ruled out imposition of any martial law saying dharnas will again come to an inconclusive end.
“Any possibility of martial law in the country stands ruled out. Dharnas will again end without bearing any fruit. If no change comes then the next Prime Minister (PM) will be Nawaz Sharif”, he said this in an exclusive talks with a private TV channel.
He held army will not impose martial law but courts should play their role. Government is responsible for the prevailing situation. Government seems to have been confused. Government should resign, he added.
Responding to a question he said the government has failed to delver. The allegations levelled by Imran Khan against Nawaz Sharif are correct, he underlined.
People will continue to come on the roads unless justice is administered to them, he remarked.
But PTI and PAT earlier staged sit ins but they proved fruitless and the present dharnas will also prove fruitless, he observed.
