Hamza Shahbaz Sharif faces yet another blow as an accountability court on Wednesday extended the judicial remand of Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz in assets beyond income case.
Accountability court judge Chaudhry Ameer Khan heard the case. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) presented Hamza Shehbaz before court. The court extended judicial remand of the opposition leader till November 13.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor was inquired from by the court regarding a formal reference against the politician. The prosecutor replied that the reference was in relay and required signatures and approval from the chairman NAB.
On the other hand, the court also approved the exemption plea from court appearance of Hamza Shehbaz Sharif’s father Shehbaz Sharif in Ramazan Sugar Mills case. The hearing was adjourned till November 12.
The court ordered to file reference against Sharif on next hearing.
