PPP to expose true face of Imran before public: Bilawal

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Saturday that his party will reveal the true face of Prime Minister Imran Khan before the public.

Addressing a gathering in Kandhkot, Bilawal said he will burst the bubble of the government’s performance façade by revealing its incompetence. He said it is not the ‘Naya Pakistan’ as promised by the prime minister ahead of the elections.

Discussing the pre-election time, Bilawal said that Imran Khan made tall claims but failed badly to deliver on them. He said inflation is at an all-time high and people have been rendered jobless in the country. “Is this the new Pakistan? The old Pakistan was much better than this,” he said, and also chanted the slogans of ‘go selected’ with the crowd.

Bilawal said the government is arresting opposition leaders to take political revenge. He said the government is reluctant to provide adequate health facilities despite arrested leaders Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif facing serious health issues. He said Faryal Talpur was shifted to the prison at midnight while former president Asif Zardari is facing fake and fabricated cases. “But, we did not compromise on principles … it is sheer injustice,” he said, adding that the PPP leadership will bear all sorts of atrocities by the government but will not tolerate injustice with the people of Pakistan.

Terming the ‘experiment’ of the ‘selectors’ a failure, he said the new Pakistan has become a horrific nightmare for people of Pakistan. He warned the government that the PPP will not tolerate any sort of comprise on 18th Amendment as well as Kashmir issue.

A large number of PPP workers from Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Kandhkot-Kashmore participated in the gathering.
