ISLAMABAD: At least seven civilians including two women were injured in unprovoked Indian shelling at the Working Boundary in Shakargarh sector on Sunday.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), intermittent exchange of fire continues at working boundary in Harpar, Chaprar, Pukhlian and Shakargarh sectors since Saturday. Pakistani troops are effectively targeting Indian posts, it added. The statement also rejected the Indian claim of destroying any checkpost at the Line of Control (LoC) in Neelum valley. Following the Uri incident, Indian forces have time and again violated ceasefire agreement initially at the LoC and now they have started unprovoked firing and shelling at the Working Boundary as well, defence sources told Daily Times.
