Wife of Lt Gen (r) Hamid Gul passes away

Wife of late Lt Gen (r) Hamid Gul, former director general ISI, passed away on Saturday after a protracted illness. She was 78.

Abdullah Hamid Gul, son of Hamid Gul and Tehreek -e- Naujawan’s Pakistan head, said her mother breathed her last on Saturday morning after Fajr prayers.

Her funeral will be held today at 2 pm at Racecourse Army Graveyard, Rawalpindi Cantt.

She has been under treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) where she breathed her last.

As the news spread of her death, a large number of officers and their wives started coming to their Chaklala Garrison residence and condoled with their daughter Uzma Gul and both sons Abdullah Gul and Umer Gul.
