Govt to increase higher educational institutions

ISLAMABAD: The government plans to expand the number of higher educational institutions in the country under the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Vision 2025.

According to officials, a sum of Rs 35.7 billion has been allocated for this purpose in the next fiscal year.

The HEC Vision 2025 aims to produce a skilled human resource catering the demands of time. Under the plan, 150 affiliated community colleges will be established across the country to produce skilled human resource.
