At the break, Azhar Ali (80) and Mohammad Nawaz (11) were at the crease as Pakistan led by 103 runs with five wickets intact.
Pakistan made 281 in their first innings while the West Indies scored 337 for a lead of 56 runs. Resuming at 87-4 on Wednesday, Pakistan lost Sarfraz Ahmed for 42.
