Kashmir Solidarity Day today

Kashmir Solidarity Day will be observed across country today to highlight Indian atrocities in the occupied valley.

A meeting chaired by Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur in Islamabad on Thursday reviewed the arrangements to observe the day. In his remarks, Gandapur said a human chain will be formed at D-Chowk to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people. He said the fascist face of Modi government will be exposed at every forum. He said Pakistan is pursuing an effective diplomacy on Kashmir dispute and the country will continue its efforts till the Kashmiris get their right to self-determination.

Moreover, Information Ministry also confirmed that a human chain will be formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Friday to express solidarity with Kashmiris. The human chain will be formed from Convention Centre to D-Chowk at 3.30 pm today. The prime minister will also address the participants at D-Chowk.

In a tweet, Dr Firdous said the prime minister is the ambassador of Kashmiris and is with them for their just, democratic and legal rights. People from all sections of society would be part of the human chain, she added.
