KHAIRPUR: As many as 12 people were died of hepatitis-B while several were admitted in hospitals in last 10 days. According to details, the dead belonged to different villages of Khairpur including Ameen Metlo, Kanhar, Khoh Wali, Qadan Metlo, Bhaley Dino Metlo, Waryo Metlo, Manganhar, and others. The dead were Faiz Muhammad Metlo, Ali Gohar Kanhar, Shaman Ali, Zaheer Ahmed, Sikander Manganhar, Ramzan Metlo, Jabbar Metlo, Ali Hassan, and few women. The area people told newsmen that hundreds of people in the district are infected with hepatitis-B and they are admitted in different hospitals. They appealed to the authorities to send teams in all eight talukas of he district and provide treatment to the patients of hepatitis-B.
