Security beefed up in Shikarpur ahead of Eid

SHIKARPUR: Shikarpur district is one of sensitive district in Sindh province it remained under terrorist’s attacks several times while many terrorists have been arrested and explosive material has also been seized from Shikarpur in this regard keeping an eye over increasing terrorist movements in across Pakistan including Parachinar, Quetta bombing and Karachi firing incident, which claim several lives of innocent persons including four policemen belonged to Karachi, in this connection security measure have been beefed up to cope any untoward incident in Shikarpur.

The Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur Syed Hassan Raza directed to Municipal Committee authorities to keep clean the city and maintain lights at streets and roads in Shikarpur on the eve of Eidul Fitr.

Besides, SSP Shikarpur Zeeshan Siddique was also arranged a high level meeting with All DSPs and SHOs held at Police headquarters Shikarpur and they strictly directed by SSP Shikarpur for increasing security measure for the Masjids and the Imambargahs during Eidul Fitr Prayers in across Shikarpur district.
