The freight train service between Pakistan and Iran has been suspended after flash floods damaged the railway track in certain areas of Dalbandin. According to a report quoting official sources, the dips on eight to ten sites near Dalbandin, Peeshuk and surrounding areas have been swept away by heavy floods.

Pakistan Railways workers have started repair work of the railway track that would take 48 hours to complete.

Railway sources said a goods train, on its way to Mirjawa from Quetta, has been stopped near Dalbandin to avoid any mishap.
