Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) International Affairs General Secretary Noorul Hassan Tanveer has denied reports of the non-participation of party President Shahbaz Sharif in JUI-F’s anti-government March, adding that Shahbaz Sharif will lead his party workers in the march.

Talking about cases against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, he said there is no hope for justice for him as the ruling PTI and NAB was working under joint strategy to indict him under fake cases.

Criticizing the ruling party’s performance, the general secretary said the PTI government has done nothing for public except putting burden of inflation, unemployment, taxes and IMF loans on its shoulders.

Tanveer said there was difference between oral and practical actions of the ruling government, adding that he was not satisfied with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s address to the United National General Assembly on September 27.

The PML-N leader said when they didn’t get proofs of corruptions against the PML-N leadership, they disqualified him over Iqama. The leader said Nawaz Sharif is innocent and he has been implicated in fake cases for his honest with this nation, adding that the recent statement of the Interior minister has cleared everything in this connection.

Besides, he claimed that PML-N vote was rigged in more than 53 constituencies in Punjab. Criticizing Ijazul Haq, he said, despite he never paid attention towards people’s problems, he always received votes on the name of PML-N. He also said Ijazul Haq also deceived

In an interview with the Daily Morning Mail, Tanveer said there is nothing true regarding differences in PML-N leadership and meeting and consultations are part of the party politics.

He said the ruling government is anti-people and gifted public by imposing taxes over 150 items.

Tanveer made it clear that the PML-N will support Maulana Fazlul Rehman in its anti-government march towards Islamabad. However, he said they wanted to appear on roads against the government after 12 Rabiul Awal.

Talking about Nawaz Sharif cases, he said everything had been clear after IHC Judge Arshad Malik’s leak video, adding that the recent statement of the Interior minister has also exposed the situation.

He demanded of the government to release Nawaz Sharif immediately. Before 2018, PML-N leadership sent him in 169 constituencies for the first time and he contested election against Ijazul Haq and won. He also solved public problems in his areas, and acknowledging his services for public, he secured space in the party.

Production orders of members National Assembly should be issued in order to ensure their participation in Parliament affairs as they are representing their voters and they can contribute well in solving their respective areas problems.
