The Roots Millennium Schools Mayfair Campus hosted a student council oath-taking ceremony on Thursday, in an effort to encourage the young individuals to regularize student body and become responsible citizens at the school campus, according to a press release issued by the organisation.

The young Millennials avowed under oath that they will be active and responsible members of the School Executive Council and will abide by laws enacted by the school and the body to guarantee the students a better campus life.

Delegation of responsibility and authority to the children is important as it teaches them lifelong skills of being dutiful and caring, besides making thembetter citizens. The Mayfair Campus I-8/4, Islamabad, aims to be an institution that is committed to meeting the needs and ambitions of a diverse range of students by providing challenging academic programs underpinned by innovative learning, professional practices and active citizenship.
