LAHORE: A wardrobe must-have! The renowned House of Ittehad, known for bringing stunning lawn collections every year, has debuted with its chiffon collection, designed by the legendary Nilofer Shahid.

A capsule collection that transcends and shifts from subtle to bold in the blink of an eye, is categorised into stunning twin pieces under the titles of Fantasy, Enchantment, Allure, Serenity, Divine, Desire and Dove. The esteemed designer has indeed outdone herself with the Shakespearean Love collection, putting together chiffon, sheer organza, Chinese raw silk, grip and cotton, adorned with her signature embellishments.

The stunningly unique season collection is set in a colour palette that varies between subtle to bold. There is a something-for-everyone approach applied by Nilofer while working on her collection, to which she says, “Months of sampling and brain storming!”

When we say something-for-everyone, there are dark hues of red, with embroidered borders with palazzo pants and embellished belted tops. There is a black design complete with harem pants and short jackets with embroidered sleeves and neckline. And then the collection also brings to us pastel shades like pink, off white and hues of cream. Neutral shade of deep sea blue and light grey are the ones standing out in the catalogue.

We love how Nilofer used leaves, faint florals and prominent paisleys as motifs that added to the sophistication element of the collection.

“I was aware that this was Ittehad’s debut with a chiffon collection, so as with all my other collections, I poured my heart out with this one. I’m in love with all the pieces and the response has been phenomenal. There are a total of seven designs but I got them stitched in different styles to add versatility in how women can wear them,” Nilofer said, while talking exclusively to Daily Times.

Shakespearean Love stands out for its distinct choice of colours, its quality fabric and intricate designs. But who could forget the epic styling and make-up done by the Ather Shahzad? The photography for Ittehad’s chiffon collection by Nilofer Shahid, has also been done by Ather Shahzad. “As you can see from the catalogue, we kept the make-up minimal and gave a sophisticated as well as a romantic look to the muse, to complement the outfits. We applied different looks for different categories that the collection is housed under. We kept the hair tied with jewels and accessories,” Shahzad Raza said, also while talking exclusively to Daily Times.

The launch event took place on Friday, organised and arranged by the creative team behind Bilal Mukhtar Event & PR. The launch of House of Ittehad was done in a brilliant manner. People from all across the country came to attend and that made it nothing short of a success.

“Personally, I believe that the House of Ittehad feels a great deal of pride in offering women intriguing and eye-catching designs with flawless manufacturing. The brand ensures its creations meet top standards that a woman expects. It was great working with Ittehad Textiles once again,” Bilal Mukhtar said.

The collection ranges from Rs 12,900 to Rs 14,900 and is available at all HOI stores as well as Raja Sahib and Salim Fabrics.
