Hospitals to remain alert on Eid getaway

LAHORE: All hospitals of the provincial capital will remain alert on Eid days.Full preparedness to tackle any possible emergency has been assured while all emergency units have been advised to stock important medicines as well.

The administration of the city’s government hospitals has cancelled holidays of doctors, nurses, technical staff, sanitary staff and other staff members.

According to sources, all government teaching hospitals claimed to have made special arrangements to provide maximum possible medical cover to citizens during Eid holidays.

All the emergency wards of hospitals have been instructed to remain alert during Eid days. Meanwhile, security has also been beefed up inside the premises as well as around the hospitals.

Health experts have advised people to take care of their diet, especially after the holy fasting month of Ramazan.
