PPP expresses sorrow over Bahawalpur incident

GUJRANWALA: Pakistan People’s Party Information Secretary Sagheer Butt expressed his deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the oil tanker fire incident in Bahawalpur. He criticised the Punjab government for not providing basic health facilities in government hospitals like Ahmed Pur Sharqia. Butt said if the local administration and police behaved in a responsible manner then causalities figures could have been reduced. He said the administration and police did not made efforts to keep away the people from the tanker which caused great loss of lives. He also criticized the chief minister Punjab for lack of health facilities in government hospitals. He said a large number of burn patients died while being shifting to Multan hospital due to non-availability of health facilities in the local hospital. He said that workers of PPP shall celebrate the Eid with simplicity due to the sad incident of Bahawalpur.
