415 more dengue cases detected in Karachi

As many as 415 more dengue fever cases have been detected in Karachi city in a week, taking the reported cases toll to 2,330 since January 1, 2019. According to the weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue (PCPD) Sindh, at least 440 more dengue fever cases were reported across the Sindh province in a week, out of which 415 were detected in Karachi and 25 in other districts. In September, a total of 936 dengue positive cases surfaced throughout the province out of which 894 reported in Karachi and 40 in other districts. A total of 2,438 dengue cases have been surfaced in Sindh province so far out of them, 2,330 were in Karachi and 108 in other districts. Ten people had been died due to dengue fever in Karachi this year so far.
