Afzal Shah Khamoosh, President, PMKP, Shakeel Wahidullah Khan, general secretary, Ashfaq Bacha and Mustajab Khan, led the rally. Addressing to the rally participants, they said that the government had completely failed to protect the workers’ lives.

They said that the employees’ had a backbone status in boosting the country economy but unfortunately neither a proper legislation had been made for the workers lives safety nor solid arrangement had been done for their health and appropriate safety for natural disaster.

“The government ambulances were not available for the injured hard workers of the incidents while the wounded rushed to hospital for first aid and to save their lives themselves” they expressed grave concerns. They were of the opinion that the workers communities in Pakistan were the victim of mental suppression and uncertain situation.

“We demand the earliest step down of Baluchistan government and to form a judiciary inquiry in this regard” they stressed and alleged that due to the negligence of Baluchistan rulers that fatal incident occurred. They further demanded of the government to pay 5 million each to the family members of every killed worker while also pay 1.5 million for the treatment of injured employees.

They warned that if government failed in compensating the Gadani victims and if the rulers are least bothered for taking tangible steps to make sure the lives and assets of the hard workers, the PMKP would not waste time in calling shatter down strikes across the country.
