Modi will fail in Kashmir: Punjab governor

Author: Staff Report

Narendra Modi’s drama to mislead the world in Houston on Sunday will be flopped, said Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar. Hitler’s atrocities are found in stories now, but Modi’s atrocities are being witnessed by the world today, he said.

If the world stays silent, there will be no peace anywhere. Kashmir is not only an issue of Kashmiris or Pakistanis but it’s a world issue now. And the issue of Kashmir demands to be solved today, not tomorrow according to the resolutions of the United Nations (UN), the governor said. The people of Kashmir are sacrificing their lives to save the ‘jugular vein’ of Pakistan, he said while addressing the annual prize distribution ceremony at the Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation’s national school and talking to the media.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Abdul Aleem Khan, Wife of Punjab governor Perveen Sarwar, Kiran Abdul Aleem Khan, National Schools Director General Raheel Bhatti and others were present at the occasion. The Punjab governor distributed prizes amongst the position holders. The real face of India, under whose administration 40,000 Kashmiris were arrested and 300 Kashmiri women had been raped and harassed during the curfew, had been exposed in front of the whole world, said Sarwar. Narendra Modi’s visit to America will only be met by protests everywhere, because everyone is standing in support with the Kashmiris, he said. Pakistan was still talking about peace and conflict resolution but India must not take Pakistan’s desire for peace as Pakistan’s weakness, otherwise we will reply in a more befitting way than February 27, the governor said. We have eradicated nepotism from the Education department, because upholding of merit is necessary in order to provide the next generation with a strong and prosperous Pakistan and the provision of health and education to masses is the foremost task of the government, he said. Serving humanity and providing quality education services to the nation has been my top priority from the start, and with the pace this world is progressing, we have to strengthen ourselves in the education sector and Inshallah, under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, we will take revolutionary steps in the education sector, the PTI MNA said in his address.
