11 killed in Dera Ismail Khan accident

ISLAMABAD: Eleven people, including a woman and a child, were killed and 20 others injured when a coach plunged into a deep ravine near Bahran area of Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday. Police said the coach was heading to Bahran when it plunged into the ravine following failure of brakes, a private news channel reported. As a result, 11 people were killed on the spot while 20 other have been seriously injured. The police and rescue team reached the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to a nearby hospital. Many injured were said to be in a critical condition.
