Sindh Assembly (SA) Speaker Agha Siraj Khan Durrani has expressed great reservations over the rumours regarding the implementation of Article 149 and termed it illegal and unjustified.

Every citizen of Sindh would record their protests against the implementation of Article 149 purposed by Federal Minister Farogh Naseem, Durrani said during a conversation with Sindh former governor Hussain Haroon.

The speaker rejected the rumours with respect to forward block. The rumours are being spread by a few figures who had recently joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and they would be unveiled soon, he said.

Haroon, also rejected Article 149 and said that no one would be allowed to distribute Sindh into two parts. He advised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership to avoid taking illegal decisions and concentrate on other national issues.
