Female agriculture worker

Author: Daily Times

Sir: More than forty percent of the Pakistani labour-force employed in the agriculture sector but government is continuous neglecting the contribution of these women workers.

Recently, the Sindh government passed a bill to protect the rights of female agriculture worker which is the landmark initiative. Under this law women, who worked in agriculture and related field, will have access to different facilities from government services, right to social welfare including their child health, social security and much more.

Sindh government is ahead of making laws in protection of venerable population, but it did little progress in implementation of these laws. There should be law in the whole country for this working group.
