LAHORE: The enthusiastic performances of Bilal Khan and Bayaan during the second session of Levi’s Live enthralled audience at Riot Studios on Friday.
The event was aimed at providing a platform to the youth and upcoming artists to showcase their talent. Bilal Khan presented his new songs which received a huge round of applause from the stunned audience along with Bayaan’s performance, which was also appreciated by all. The band consists of Asfar Hussain on vocals, Shahrukh Aslam and Muqit Shahzad on guitars, Haider Abbas on bass and Mansoor Lashari on drums.
Speaking on the occasion, Farhad Hamayun of Riot Studios was of the view that the second Levi’s Live session had received extraordinary response from the audience as well as the people who were unable to attend the session as they were there with him in spirit. “This is what our philosophy was, a platform for the youth and this is what it exactly is,” he said, adding that the new artists who performed in previous Levi’s Live sessions had also been appreciated immensely.
Levi’s Pakistan Country Manager & Director Mir Zia Mahmood, while talking exclusively to Daily Times, said that Levi’s was moving forward with Levi’s Live as “our long term brand strategy and as the platform we hope more talented artists can showcase their creative prowess”. He added, “This is just the beginning and Levi’s Live will keep supporting the talent of our local music industry.”
