One-stop solution for all fashionistas

LAHORE: The premises at which the Shoe Planet Luxus Fashion Expo 2016 was held, made the exhibition grander than it was. Held on the first floor of the revamped Luxus Grand Hotel, all stalls of participating designers and make-up artists shone and sparkled in an inviting manner, and we saw a humongous turnout of people, all eager to get their hands on clothes and accessories.

Organised and arranged by the creative team behind Savvy PR & Events, the expo hosted not just prominent members of the media, fashion and beauty industry but also socialites and fashionistas purchasing in bulk, what mostly is sold-out at independent outlets. Never for once did the expo experience a dull moment, even being held for 10 hours at a stretch.

Some of our most favourite and popular designers and make-up artists exhibited, namely Asifa & Nabeel, Erum Khan, Noor by Saadia Asad, Rawaj by Pinx and Zhoosh.

“The Luxus Expo was a really good experience. The exhibition was very well managed. We received a lot of positive feedback on our stock. Such events give you the right kind of exposure to interact with different kind of customers that are very important for every brand,” Saadia Asad of Noor said, while talking exclusively to Daily Times.

The event was indeed a one-stop solution for all fashionistas and shopaholics as luxury prêt, couture, home and décor items, make-up accessories as well as beautiful jewellery was on display for all in the most disciplined of manner and line-up. The most integral element of every Lahori exhibition is definitely food, which was also being served to all guests and buyers. Free make-overs and complimentary desserts were the highlight of the event. The centrally-located hotel was a huge success as far as the venue for the expo was concerned.

“The exhibition drew in a lot of people who shopped their hearts out and the turnout was fabulous in spite of rumours of road blocks due to protests on the Mall Road. Everyone put in a great effort to make it a fantastic event. I wish the team behind Luxus Grand Hotel ‘good luck’ in all their future endeavours,” Rima Farid of Savvy Pr said, also while talking exclusively to Daily Times.

“Luxus Fashion Expo was the first of its kind as it’s the first time in Pakistan that a hotel organises a multi-designer fashion event, showcasing the new and established names in fashion and accessories market under one roof,” Aamir Mazhar added.

For those of you who made it, wasn’t it a delightful, colourful and glamorous event for all fashion lovers and shopping enthusiasts? We especially rooted for the jewellery exhibitors and experienced the most crowd there.
