QUETTA: At least six terrorists were killed and five security personnel were injured during a Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) operation near Eastern Bypass in Quetta in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
According to details, intelligence agencies and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a joint operation on a tip-off near Quetta’s Eastern Bypass.
The terrorists opened fire upon seeing the approaching CTD officials, injuring at least four security officials.
During the operation, a terrorist blew himself up while five others, including woman, killed during the encounter.
The law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and the operation lasted for 5 hours.
The security officials also recovered arms and explosive materials from terrorists’ hideout.
