Raza Rabbani slams India’s aggression along LoC

ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani has strongly condemned the unprovoked shelling of the Indian Forces on the Line of Control (LoC) as a result of which seven Pakistani soldiers’ embraced martyrdom.

Raza Rabbani termed it an act aimed at undermining regional peace and security. He said that war was not the solution to issues. “Dialogue is the remedy to issues and Pakistan has raised this matter on all forums to engage in constructive dialogue for peaceful resolution of all the outstanding issues”, he said.

He also expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and prayed to Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace. He urged the international community and champions of human rights to take notice of the brutal violations committed by Indian forces and play their role for creating a peaceful environment at regional level.
