Sir: The federal government has banned the use of nonbiodegrableplastic bags in Islamabad. This legislation from Pakistan Government has so far considered as the best step taken against environmental pollution as plastic bags directly embody all kinds of Pollution.
In addition, The unlimited burning of Plastic bags can produce large amount of greenhouse gases that result climate change.On the other hand, Government has made some strict rules for the masses if they are involved in selling or manufacturing plastic bags.For Instance, a person found guilty in selling plastic bags has to pay Rs10,000 to 50,000 as fine where as a person found in manufacturing plastic bags will be charged one lakh to five lakh rupees as fine.
It is really appreciable that Pakistan Government is trying its level best to make a clean green Pakistan
