Pakistani! Hand-woven garments

Dresses are one of the most sought after handicrafts of Pakistan. Multan, Bahawalpur and surrounding areas are full of gifted men and women who produce the most adorable cross stitches.

Tilla, pearl and salma sitare work of the north are very famous throughout the country. Swat is well-known for its thread embroidery, whereas, in Dera Ghazi Khan, mirror work is done on clothes.

Works of these types are called karrhai. Chitrali patti is woven on hand looms.
