Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) organised a five-day skill development training programme on System Audit of withholding agents from 26th to 30th August, 2019. Under the directions of Shabbar Hussain Zaidi, Chairman, FBR, Directorate General of Training & Research (Inland Revenue), Lahore has initiated a five day training programme at Lahore and its sub-offices at Karachi and Islamabad for officers and officials posted in field formations all over the country. A new initiative has been taken up by FBR to develop the skills of officers for system audit of withholding agents to monitor and improve the collection of withholding tax. Renowned Chartered Accountants have been engaged as resource persons for the training programmes.
