High-value BLA activist surrenders: ISPR

Rawalpindi: Security forces claimed on Wednesday that a high-value Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) activist they identified as Abdul Rasool alias Ustad/Borjon/Boss and his group surrendered to them. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), he was involved in terrorist activities in Pasni, Kulanch, Dashat and Mand areas of Baluchistan. It said the surrender happened as a result of increased writ of the state enabled through effective intelligence and successful security operations. “His surrender will go a long way in improving peace and stability in Balochistan,” the ISPR said. Meanwhile, FC Balochistan foiled terrorists’ designs by identifying and neutralising an improvised explosive device (IED) on Sabzal Road.
