David has been selected to replace Tim Miller, who quit the project back in October due to creative differences with actor/co-producer Ryan Reynolds

He will direct the sequel from a screenplay written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who were the scribes of the first movie. As of now, “Dead pool 2” has yet to set a release date.

Leitch’s experience on John Wick makes him a good fit on Dead pool 2 unconfirmed reports hold that Miller and Dead pool star Ryan Reynolds parted ways over the tone and scale of the sequel. Word is Reynolds preferred to stick with the R-rated, lower-budget approach to the first instalment, which was made for $58 million and went on to earn nearly 13 times that amount.
