Children’s hospital approved for NA-52

RAWALPINDI: After the construction of school, park and graveyard under welfare city project, construction of a children hospital has also been approved in Punjab budget for the fiscal 2017-18 at the cost of Rs 500 million in constituency NA -52 in Chaklala Scheme III and Dhook Munshi.

According to media reports, before this there was not a single government hospital in the area.

It is vital to mention here that under welfare city project, already work is being carried out on two projects including modern public park and graveyard at the cost of 150 million on 115 kanals land however; now another development project (Children hospital) is approved for this area.

The concerned authorities have been directed to initiate work on this project in July.
